Far
to often we neglect to say things in life and keep
them bottled up inside until we loose a loved one and
then we regret not saying these important words to
that loved one. We both have been guilty on far to
many occasions in this area. I (Greg) have lost a
Father and two brothers. They were three important
parts of my life. In the case of my Father, I was a
mere fourteen and my Father was sick, so maybe I could
be forgiven for not expressing my love and thanks. But
I know he loved me dearly and I was blessed to have
him as a Father, although the time was too brief.
As for my brothers, Brin died tragically when he was
only 33 years old. Had I spent enough time with him?
Had I shared thoughts and spent quality time with him?
Had I told him how much I appreciated him and that I
loved him? Unfortunately the answers to these
questions are 'Not enough'.
Boyd, who also died tragically at the age of 42, was
my hero, yet I never told him until it was almost to
late. The same questions I asked about Brin apply here
with Boyd to. I never had enough quality time with
him. Some due to circumstances, but having said that,
we should always take time.
Mom, bless her heart, is still alive and far to often
I have taken her for granted. I haven't taken the time
to uttered those words, 'Thanks' and 'I Love you'.
Jenny has also lost loved ones that have been very
close to her. Her father passed away in 1998, which
tore her apart. Her Aunt Ginny. Her Grandma and
Granddad Gill died not to long ago. (These dedications
will follow soon)
Thank
you for visiting and I hope these dedications will
touch your hearts and leave you feeling that you too
need to spend more quality time around those you love
dearly and say those important words. May you never
take anyone you love for granted. You never know when
God will take them away and the time is to late.
Say
those words. I love you and appreciate you.
